Welcome
“EVERY MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN LEGION OF DUBUQUE POST 6 MUST FOCUS ON SERVICE TO OUR VETERANS, OUR YOUTH AND TO OUR COMMUNITY AS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY”
Welcome to the Post 6 website. The statement above is our post’s vision. Since our charter in 1919, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
We are a fellowship of military veterans, their spouses and their children – serving those who served, and are serving. Post 6 is made up of The American Legion, Women’s Auxiliary Unit #6 and The Son’s of the American Legion (SAL) Squadron # 6. We understand that mutual helpfulness becomes a reality through comradery, social activities, pride of achievement and the service programs of the post.
